Description

Job Summary

Work closely with a project team to create and modify control system software for integrated Audio Video Systems by converting requirements into a functional user interface and control code. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Read and interpret AV systems drawings
• Gather programming requirements 
• Control System programming design to meet requirements and system capabilities 
• User Interface programming to meet requirements and system capabilities
• Install control programs and touch panel design offsite onsite and remotely in physical systems 
• Perform commissioning and acceptance testing of code
• Create programming-related documentation 
• Maintain and update programming and code in installed systems
• Maintain control code in version control repository
• Travel to various job sites required
• Other duties assigned as needed
Skills and Abilities 

• Proficient in programming languages
• Proficient with test and calibration equipment a plus
• Experience in uploading and downloading software in embedded systems a plus
• Experience in embedded control automation systems a plus
• Effective communication and interaction with employees clients and colleagues 
• Experience with AV equipment a plus
• Valid Driver’s License and a clean Driver's Abstract that meets AVI-SPL driving standards

Education and/or Experience 
• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Four year degree preferred
• Two years’ experience in programming preferred
